Brilliant as usual, Samra. One thing I don't like to do is let my ego get the best of me when I'm writing. I feel like my purpose is to draw attention to my work but not let it get to my head. I believe that when someone starts doing it for the wrong reasons, the worst of that person comes out. Whether it's greed, ego, or just plain negativity, a writer runs the risk of scaring more people away than they attract.
